Once a year I like to take the bike to the track for a little fun and this I did today. Having only had the bike for 2 months I had a bit of learning to do mainely cos I came of a Moto Guzzi 1100i sport and if any one knows a MG then they would know that they operate somwhat different to the average bike.
I setteled in to the VTR well and soon forgot the old MG habits. I managed the same times as the Guzz which I had for 3yrs so there should be room for improvment.
I ran 100oct leaded fuel and this seemed to make for better mid-top end power.
SUSPENSION well you know were I'm going with this one right?....... Actually the bike handeled bloody well no silly behaviour at all, so maybe there is hope yet for setting up a great storm.
Breaks not as good as the old Brembo but hual em in a bit harder and they stop ya soon enough.
The day ended with me in 3rd place behind a SL 1000 which pulled away down the straight and a 888 4v Duke.
1st track day a sucsess
1st track day a sucsess
