"THAT IS NOT MY BIKE IN THE EVENT'S SECTION OF THE GALL

Post by delmeekc »

Somebody has uploaded a photo in the event's section with the title "Del's naked Beast" and that's not my bike at all. Not that I feel gutted or anything so I'm gonna upload a few now

Your or otherwise that bike has an MV tail section. Did you (or whomever) use the MV subframe?

Anyone have a lead on where I could source on of these? Not easy to come by in canada!

Jasong70,

I can get these, the rear is MV and the front is 916Bipisto, takes an MV back light unit, a 916Bip seat and lock/hinge from a 916. Nice tidy package as all the weight is taken through the seat pad. I modified an alloy spondon racing sabframe and added the 916 fittings so it still locks and will flip up from the rear like a 916.

all the threaded holes for mounting all of the above are in the carbon so no cutting and glueing, just get the fittings, I bought then new as they weren't too dear.

Dya want one then?

Hey Del,

The big Q: How much? I'm pretty handy myself. Sounds like a good solution. I've been looking to do this for some time.

How well does the seat fit? How much just for the tail section (bodywork) and seat?

Let me know, you may be a good solution.

PS: SharkSkinz makes an MV tail nowadays...kinda cool.
