Hi there....Does anybody know if you can fit a SP1 tank on a VTR? Just would look so much nicer...... James

No, it won't fit, totaly different tanks.
In fact they are totally different bikes.

The SP tank extends down into the rear subframe, so you'd have to repackage a lot of the storm electrics and battery at the very least.
You could cut and re-weld it, but then, you could do that with almost any tank.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I thought i would offer opinion on your question. The SP1 or SP2 fuel tank are much wider across the airbox upper frame. Not to mention the price for either series of fuel tank is alot more in price.
Now i read of member using Honda VFR fuel tanks of the same years... With some modification
