Took The Murvinator out for a spin
Very hot n sweaty! Back home dropped the oil & whipped the oil filter off. Leave it to drain overnight. Last day of me 12 off tomorrow. Back to work on Monday morning .

Picked up the bodywork yesterday and got most of it fitted before tea. Took some swearing and shouting as I tried to route the wiring harness so it didn't foul the fairing. The Spondon subframe must be lower than a stock one . Seat unit and some tweaks to do tomorrow and I can get it booked in for MOT.

After much mucho hunting i found a good as new L/H front caliper to turn the LC into a twin disc setup. just throw it on along with the other parts and bingo......

4 hours and a few curse words later i have a decent brake setup, the single disc i think looks odd on the 250s and its total pants to use
the older i get,the faster i was

But of course it's non standard now so is worth a fraction of the value of a fully original one.
I'll give you (fill in insultingly low offer here) for it.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Looks like a good job Rob.

Love my chunky fork brace lol the forks need it they are like pencils..

The master I kept the 250 one as the common mod is to use the 250 one instead of the 350 to give you better feeling at the leverImage
