I going to try to make my own seat for my bike.
Essentially I keeping the bike as a 2 seater but otherwise I'm fully street-fightering it.
Because I have got rid of all the fairings, there are gaps around the back of the seat.
So, as I was always intending to get the seat re-clothed. I thought I'd get hold of a cheap seat from ebay and use that as a base-line, so I know what has to go where.
Does anybody have any experience of making their own?
I'm thinking of using aluminium as it is quick to work and doesn't rust.
Has anybody used "normal" wood or plywood?
I can't be bothered with the faff of fibreglass.
What other materials have people used?
