I am not finding clipons uncomfortable. But my riding is limited by my necks
endurance. As the collar of my jacket is pushing the lid over my eyes I am having
to channel my inner tortoise and try and see where I am going.
I am hoping full face lids are better with clipons, better be I have just bought one.
I rode a bike with clipons for years with an open face lid. But with a younger neck.
are open face lids lower over eyes?

Re: are open face lids lower over eyes?
I've had the same issue for a few years, and had to try different clipons on the SP2.
I was advised that Shark helmets have a higher top aperture, so bought one, it was slightly better than my old carbon HJC HQ1 but not much.
Now I've fitted clipons to the Tuono Factory instead of the standard higher bars I'm back in the same position, so bought myself a new Arpha1 in carbon, it's fine.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

No.
On the off chance full face lids were better I bought one, it’s no better.
So either I youthify the old neck or I fit some He Hebos.

Sports bikeshop have a free returns option, if you don't like it send it back.
