Hello and welcome . Your doing some good work there .
Where did you get the plugs/connectors from for the reg/rec ?
The originals are Japanese Furukawa, you can sometimes find these, or Chinese copies on eBay.
Search Shindengen FH020AA or Furukawa connectors on eBay.
Think I put a link to some Chinese copy versions I found earlier in this thread, but the seller I bought my Japanese connectors from is out of stock.
The grey one is Furukawa QLW-A-3F-GR
The black is Furukawa QLW-A-B3F-B

Good work, well done
Chris.
Hi Chris,
How many posts (or time?) do I need before I can contact members in the For Sale section?
There's a couple of items there I'm interested in buying, but I can't see how to contact the sellers
Thanks, Mark

Ah,,,just found the answer, 50 posts needed
Hi Mark, yes you're right it is 50 posts.
I'm not sure if you found that out from the rules or other members posts.
It's in this link here which is at the top of the Welcome Inn section: viewtopic.php?t=19054
11. Due to abuse of the Sales and Wants section by some previous new members, it is now mandatory that you have 50 posts before you are allowed to post in that section of the forum. Anybody trying to get around this by posting sales in the wrong place will have their posts deleted, try it a second time and their account will be deleted automatically. No questions asked. Also, posting trivial posts just to reach the 50 will also result in your account being deleted.
Also bought some K-Tech stiffer linear springs 0.9kg/mm, as I'm 15 stones rider weight, and will put fresh fork oil in.
Is there any advantage to putting heavier weight oil in to stiffen the damping?
From the details you give, 10wt is the heaviest you need, but I'd still go with 7.5 wt.
If you go with 10, perhaps you might increase the air gap a little. 135mm is about right with 7.5 wt oil.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Thanks for the advice.
I'll go with 7.5 and 135mm gap
Thanks. BTW that wasn't from Fleet/Crookham was it? Oct 2017 I looked at a 9000 mile example in blue with a funky alarm system that had to be switched each time it cranked. Can't be the same machine?
