Nice one Kaz, whereabouts in Kef are you goin?
We've been a few times, stayed in Skala (watch out for the nudie beach!) and Katelios where there were loggerhead turtles. We hired a 1.0 Diahatsu Kuore (who we nicknamed Kebab) and had great fun outrunning the locals on the mountain roads. Also hired a scooter which I took slightly offroad (if you walk to the skala old village you'll get what I mean) and did the whole of the island on pretty much including up the 3000ft mountains.
Places to go....Sami is a nice port village where Captain Correllis was filmed although you'd never know it. Also a bit cheaper for drink & food than the south of the island. The caves at Drogorarti are cool but even better and a must-do if you're in that part of the island is the underground Lake Mellisani.
Have fun!!!
