Mate have a read of some of the threads on here...use the seach function.
There have been many a fail, no you dont get a warning, milage is irrelevent, swap to manuals ASAP, I run them in all my Storms never had an issue, very little mainanace required, easy to fit.
No brainer for the cost of a set & a few hours tinkering time, peace of mind that your motor is safe...
Verse's not doing it & hope they dont fail & when they do $$$$ to replace/repair head or find a new motor.

They're fine, if a little expensive.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

The Apes are US made & a good brand.
The bottom ones I have no experiance with, I beleive they are made in Germany.

SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN
Re: The tensioner..
APE has a CNC manufacturing wing in their Willow Springs facility. So making them would be no issue. Plus in all the years I have used APE products, I have never heard of them rebranding another manufacturers parts. If you have proof, I would love to see it, until then I will say that APE products are made in sunny SoCal not China.___Norwegian___ wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 6:28 pm Well. i belive APE wrap the chinese ones in APE paper..
