What a Gem !!! Happy new owner
Hello - greetings from the north west uk!
COVId has depressed us all hasn't it !? Cant book a holiday, can't leave the house pfffft - sod it let's buy a motorbike instead !!
I haven't rode in over 8 years gents but I spied this on the net & it looked immaculate...and boy is she !! 5,000m with not a mark on her I can't find a tarnished nut or bolt - zero not a 1 - no blemishes - nothing ... Looks like it's just rolled out the factory ! (I'll take some pictures when it stops raining!)
I rode it home late yesterday evening, middle of Jan, tipping it down in a borrowed lid (mines that old both visors have delaminated !) But I loved every second of it.. one thing that surprised in the short ride... Boy is there some engine braking on this thing ! What are brakes !?! Don't need them hehe. I'm looking forward to getting some experience under my belt - half of me thinks I should buy a wrecker & put this one in a box... It really is that bloody clean !
Anyhow - the CCT has been done already swapped to a manual - I read on here about that...so big relief it's already sorted.
Don't know what else to say folks - other than I'm pretty certain I'll double it's milage before the years out !!.. Plan on riding to every round of BSB once this lockdown lifts.
Tu Shay gents !!
Thanks for welcoming me in
Big Lloydie

My goodness, that looks clean! And it's a fast one as well.

Hello and welcome to the forum. That is a good looking bike.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN
Re: What a Gem !!! Happy new owner
I hope you’re less lube focused than our other Lloydie!!! Looks a very nice clean bike, other than the colour
I bought mine back in 2010 from York and riding it back down the A1 the engine braking was the standout feature to me as well. Loads you can do to them but the prime thing is enjoy it.

Welcome aboard
That is a lovely looking bike I agree
Well found.
Many years ago I locked the back wheel up on mine after taking the bike for a test ride before purchase, that happened as I changed down a bit quick negotiating a rather tight roundabout, luckily the road was dry
Chris.

Funnily enough the rep told me there was something special about this model... I'm guessing he was hinting at the fact it's yellow and everyone knows yellow is 10% faster 10% more exotic & 20% more reliable than the others

Bwhaha brilliant I'm going to have to show the lads at work that bit of editing.. I've been getting ripped a wee bit about the colour.. but you know what it's growing on me ... Might get some yellow leathers to match in for a penny as they say !
