Surprised you let the Ap go. Thought you were bonding there.
Mt09 motor is a belter, what number are you putting on her?

As Grumpyfrog said, I'm surprised you let the Aprilia go too. As yourself I liked the look of the Supermotofabiostar wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 9:06 am in a twist of madness i sold my bike today, or rather swapped it
the sexy good looking Aprilia is away and in its place is..................................a yamaha MT09, the strange tracker version..
back to back with the MT, the italian wins on handling, braking, looks. looks again.
what the MT has going for it , the seat, and the engine thats a total turbine torque monster, its a 2105 model and has yamaha history and only 11k by a very careful owner.
lets see how i get on with this.
Look forward to seeing some pic's of your new bike
I can't say I've seen a tracker version yet,
Chris.
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
yes it has the hipster seat but thats getting binned . as for the ape i really liked it but on longer runs it hurt my ass , but anyhow i went for the spin with dave and once i got a rip on the mt it was deal done... nice thing is he gave me a spare pipe with it and its been modded inside so looks standard but sounds glorious once you rev it but not enough to get plod involved ..
its had an easy life with full history and only 11k, iv never owned a triple 4 banger so this is a first

Carbon fibre nose. Yes, you need to make the front end even lighter
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Custurd got a basic wipe/clean of the lights, cleaned, lubed & ajusted chain ready for another, probably wet at times, 4 days of commuting so just under 300 miles worth...
Oh & gave the left hand switch gear some contact cleaner, main beam switch is a bit sticky...not now tho...
