Hi from E Sussex
Hi from E Sussex
Hi everyone, just picked up a 99 storm, been riding for 15yrs and just retired my trusty fzr1000 after the clutch finally exploded on me. Fingers crossed honda reliability now! I've only been out on it once as its not got the CCTs done so I'll wait to sort them out. Just read the welcome post and this forum seems absolutely jam packed with useful info and people!

Re: Hi from E Sussex
That really does deserve kudos.
I've read most of that instruction thread and am a bit fazed by the prospect. Excellent guide though, and in my opinion far more detailed than anything Haynes or similar ever published. I do not have a problem with aptitude; it's my VERY low tolerance of patience.

Hi Ian I have been riding for 40 years and also had a Fazer 1000, I didn’t blow it up but have had several Storms since 2011 so I think you will get on with it. My name is also Ian but I prefer Duffy but I get called other things

Re: Hi from E Sussex
It's a spell checker problem we don't mind how fat or thin the bins are, but want to see bins.
Dustbins, scrap bins, garden waste bins, any bins.
Its traditional.
The more the merrier.
Just give us bins.
Bins are probably more important than the bike pix, tbh.
Everyone knows what a Firestorm looks like, we've all got one or had one.
But bins, there's an infinite variation, size, colour ( the green ones empty fastest) and the smell, oh, the smell- there's nothing to compare to a swarf bin with mixed brass and stainless chippings, and a gallon or so of coolant swilling about to keep it fresh and fragrant, oh, oh, ohhhh. Oooohhhhhhh.
That was a good one.
Or is it just me?

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
