1st time VTR1000 owner, Wales.

Post by jbf955i »

Hi guys.

I am a very proud owner of my first VTR1000. I picked it up from Liverpool last Sunday and the ride back to Wales was amazing. There wasn't anything I could fault about this bike. Loved it!

I have joined this group to draw on the experience of you guys as I will have a lot to learn about these bikes.

Thanks for having me.

Cheers

Jason

Your bike is looking a clean machine, with some extra's already fitted,

Hi Chris,

Only a few at the moment. My next job is to look at the CCT :(. They sound OK at the minute, but what I've been reading on here, they are a big risk.

Need to buy some paddock today to get the bike up and give it a good going over. That of course around the Rugby ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰

Cheers Jason

Yes, much improved. I'll be cheering especially for Tom Francis (I'm a Chiefs fan), and good luck for today and the rest of the tournament.

I live near to Worcester so I head west to get to the better roads and away from the traffic, but Wrexham is a bit further north than my usual play ground. ... although when we do the yearly Storm outing to Northern Ireland I get the ferry from Holyhead, so I know the good bits of the A5 through Llangollen and Snowdonia, and we have also used the roads west of Bala as part of the Welsh Operation Storm meeting.

Yes, we have some great roads here in North Wales. Lots of Police on these roads nowadays. Some of them even have average speed cameras now . Still fun to be had tho if you stay away from the hot spots.

Perhaps I could join you guys on your next trip through NW.

Cheers

Have a look at the runs and ride outs thread, you're welcome on all of them.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
