Just put a NITRON shock in her! What a pita joba that was! Akrapovic headers made it so much worse than it has been before. Back end had to Come off too.
Anyway that's it done now. I believe some riding is on the cards. Bellypan hopefully here tomorrow

If you don't try you never know if you can do it.
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I don't like to say this Rob, but you're going to have to do the job again as you have fitted a Nitron shock not a Maxton
All joking aside, nice work
Chris.

Just to clarify I posted this elsewhere and stated the right shock name

we didn't need to take him to the vets in the end, he has no injuries, he's breathing fine, he's also eating and drinking well, i will just have to put my protective motorbike gear on before i try and clean him up, he hates it and will tear me to pieces....
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!

Very pleased to hear that Marty I have found in the past that my old leather motorcycle gauntlets work well with cats clawsagentpineapple wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 9:12 pmhi chrissirch345 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 8:59 pmSad about the rabbit Marty, but pleased to hear your cat has turned up. Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Last night I assembled the bike ready for Snetterton next week, ran her up to check for leaks (I made some new fuel lines) then realised I hadn't removed the two carb vent pipes as advised.......I managed to pull them from the carb frames out the way! Only thing left to do is wash it - I HATE washing bikes, well, I hate washing anything by hand!!
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Pulled the Firestorms ignition switch apart to clean the contacts. Sometimes it was taking two attempts for the ignition to stay on. Normal service has now been returned
