Op Storm Wales Sep 13th to 15th 2019

Post by cheekykev »

Hi all you Storm Troopers, when we left the Bunkhouse this year I mentioned to John that we would like to stay there again for next year.
At that moment in time, because him and his wife were in the process of splitting up they weren't totally sure what was happening with the business, although they did indicate that they intended to carry on with the Bunkhouse, and would inform me as soon as they had made a decision, anyway they must have sorted things out because I received an email from him, please see a copy below :-
Dear Kevin Williamson,
I have just been preparing our 2019 diary and as discussed when you were here have provisionally booked sole occupancy whole bunkhouse sleeping up to 20 people to you, arriving Fri 13-Sep-19 for 2 nights.

The total cost comes to GBP 520.00 and a deposit of 30%, £186.00 will be required to secure. We can now accept card payments online and I will send a separate email with the appropriate link. Otherwise we can, of course, still accept cheque payments payable to Woodhouse Farm Ltd. The balance is then due 8 weeks before arrival.

To make sure we get the place booked I will pay the deposit this week myself, so can all you Storm Troopers who are thinking of coming along please post up so I can add you to the list, then when I have a good indication of the numbers attending I can then work the figures out, and will get in touch with you for a deposit.
So come on guys, remember we filled the place this year, so get your name down, the places are on a first come first serve biases.
To give people who are not familiar with this meeting an idea of the price, the Bunkhouse occupies 20 people, if 20 turn up it works out at £26 each, if 10 people turn up it works out £52 each, and so on and so on, there's also a one off payment of £4 each for bedding and towels, so come on you know it's well worth the money, the trip, the banter and a great ride out.

I'll be there. Hope that doesn't put too many other people off...

I’ll be there but not in the bunkhouse and will be on my mountain bike!!

I’ll stay in the mtb friendly b&b down the road as they have bike facilities m/security there.

See you next September 👍🏼

Can't miss the riding, banter and snoring opportunity.
Put me down for one near the log fire and book me a towel for the jacuzzi.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

He very rarely goes out, and even then it's not far.
Probably a good program on the telly he's only seen twice before

will depend on the sardinia dates as usual, but if they don't clash, I will be there and Norman has already said he wants to go again.

The more that turn up the cheaper it is, and there are still places left but they will go
