Devon Storm 2019. 21st-24th June
Devon Storm 2019. 21st-24th June
What is Devon Storm..
It's a weekend away on the bikes in the west country (Westward Ho!) usually arrive on Friday afternoon and leave Monday morning, some leave Sunday but generally chalets are booked for the weekend. cost is shared out so it's not expensive. relaxing and riding is what it's about, there's bars and food very nearby for evenings and breakfast, chalets have 3 beds, double and 2 singles, there's also a small sofa in each so they can accommodate 4 people (there's the option of 2's up top and tail in the double, if you get on well )
The roads are great for bikes, by doing it in June the schools haven't broken up so not too much holiday traffic.
Details to follow but lets have some names to get started. would be good to add some new ones along to join us.
From those who have been before just thought best to check are we happy to do as usual or something different, different place ?, i'm happy where it is but i would be I will look for this year to find some places of interest to visit during the days, as long as we have a good ride there and back.
Going.

Hmmmmmmm oh, go on then.
Best check TT dates to avoid a clash.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: Devon Storm 2019. June
It won't clash, TT finishes on the 7th, we'll be on either the middle or 3rd weekend of June.

Re: Devon Storm 2019. June
I won't be able to make the 23rd as I have eagles tickets.

Re: Devon Storm 2019. June
I think the date will probably be the weekend of the 22nd/23rd, reason being work, I can't be off every weekend, I will be off 2 weekends before and 2 weekends after. I need to open Saturday's so to be off 2 on the trot is more likely to hurt business, Sorry Tony
I'd like to see if anymore are up for coming along, Pete ? big pete? Little Pete ? anyone else ?
i'll leave it a while longer then get on the the holiday place and book chalets.

Re: Devon Storm 2019. June
I still can't make those dates, the other half is away also so I will have to give it a miss this year.
Re: Devon Storm 2019. June
Shame you 2 can't make it.
Low numbers so we may have to give the weekend a miss next year. If there's only 3 or 4 maybe have a year off and come back to it in 2020 ?

We may get a sudden influx yet and still do it, who knows.
