Hi from sunny Huddersfield West Yorks

Post by Ruddy »

Hi, I've recently acquired a 50th anniversary firestorm. Been lurking as a guest for a few days and have to say this forum is full of knowledge and tips about the bike. The bike needs a bit of work to get it sorted but rides and goes well.
Mcct's to sort first, don't want to tempt disaster. So if I can't find the info I'll be asking some daft questions no doubt so please be patient.
Steve.

There’s no such thing as a daft question (oh maybe “can I have a yellow bike please?”) so ask away to clear up any ambiguity before you seal it up and press the button!

Just getting started, and the crankshaft end cap is SOLID. I'll have a route around the forum I'm sure I won't be the first.
Thanks for the welcomes.

Removing the cap is not essential to doing the CCTs. It does make it easier though.

Any chance of a link to the cap, I can find the smaller one but not the other.
