Alistair, is there still room at the inn. My mate would very much like to come and he has secured a pass from SWMBO so if space and your happy to have him let know and I will get the money off. You may not want him though as he has an Aprilia and a Benelli :)

Al, looks like i'm in. Drove to Peebles to pick up a chair yesterday and told the Mrs that in August I'll be pootling around this neck of the woods. Fine she said.

Also - a mate of mine is interested. He's got a desmosedici, so no issues if he can come and comes on that?

My mate Steve is likely a day-tripper now if he comes.

I'm in for the duration though - being hyper lazy at the moment I guess payment details are further up the thread?/

its £18 / night base for a bunk [you bring your own sleeping bag, but then there will be a single £5 cost if you want sheets and towel provided

are you 2 or 3 nights? 7 of us are staying sunday night so we can do a full ride sunday and then a relaxed trip back home on Monday

I will PM you with payment details

I have now booked the 20 bed bunk house for our exclusive use on Friday and Saturday night, with 17 fully paid up [when BVG send payment, but I trust him !] and 7 beds booked on the sunday night.

so we have 3 beds Fri and Sat that are still available for the "maybe" group and any other late requests ... will still be £18 / night, but this can go in the Beer / BBQ fund

ok,

will be good if you can make it .... only 70 odd miles from Hawick over to meet us, so not too bad to commute in and out

Rollingthunder, If you get the chance, you MUST take the bike up there. Alright, it's now part of the NC500 route so cyclists, campers and other nutters up there, but those roads are awsome.
Theres nothing else to do up there bar anoy the tourists in the pub, so you may as well enjoy it.

And go get some AVON skin so soft woodland scent. you will need it for the midges.
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time
