Although regarding there being nothing between it and a storm in a straight line, I'm not sure. It might be because I've not ridden a storm in... A while... But this definitely feels much faster to respond and reach high speeds so far, anyone fancy lending me a bike and letting me test that? :D

You dont need to, ive already done that for you with me on my storm and my bro on the 600... :biggrin

The 600 FEELS faster because its peakier, has a stack more revs to play with and holds onto its revs for longer but gear by gear, theres nothing in it...

There goes my only excuse for trying to nab another ride on a firestorm though!
Ah well, fair enough. The speeds are irrelevant for the most part anyway, I'm not in the habit of racing everywhere after all :)

it doesn't help I've been riding bikes that encourage me to ride like an old man... I've got a lot of catching up to do in terms of acting my age, you'd hope buying a bike like this is step 1

Looks great Virt. Big bro had an older version and it was a pretty solid machine, it can take whatever you throw at it

Well, stop pit.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
