Oil light coming on?

Post by Murv »

It kept coming on this morning, especially when decelerating, then would switch off under power (from cold)
After 10 minutes or so, it went out and stayed out.
There are no leaks, no smoke, plenty of clean oil in the engine and it's running absolutely fine. Is the oil sender prone to connection problems?

It can be as it's location is by the sump and gets covered in crap .
Take the connector off and give it a clean .
See if that helps
