Re: Track day advice please
Doesn't it depend on tyres. Road tyres are going to be road pressure but something like a Super Corsa SC2 will be more like 30 cold.
Re: Track day advice please
You left it a bit late, mate.
Hope it goes well.
The local tyre fitter will have advice to hand out foc, he'll know your tyres and the local track, so just ask.
There's usually one at a weekend track day.
Hope it goes well.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: Track day advice please
Most jobs are done better by an experienced expert, so leave it to the marshals!
It's all part of the service.
Hopefully, you won't have to put this advice to the test.
Which track?

OMG
So wet track first session which has started to dry on the racing line
Second session 4th lap youngest brother drops it at the slowest coner the hairpin
I was close and seen the crash no big deal the marshal was the same at the start but then the bro was very slow to get up ,red flag
Ambulance hospital
So he has to have an operation to screw his shoulder and will just have to wait a few weeks to the 3 broken ribs and punctured lung heal
The guy that fell off at the same place same speed 20 seconds earlier helped lift the bike
I keep playing it over and over again and still can't work out how he did so much damage

Re: Track day advice please
I hope all is well and neither you or the bike are too badly beaten.
I'm getting a Firestorm ready as a trackday bike and a pre requisite for me is a pair of wet's on wheels. I first raced a bike in 1974 and hated racing in wet conditions. After years out of the game I came back in 1999 and once I'd experienced 'wet's' I was converted & soon became a wet weather specialist.
The grip available is just unbelievable and the confidence you'll build up over time will be the difference between heading to a trackday praying for the weather to change & hoping it'll rain heavier so you can show some of them blokes on really expensive bikes the way around!!!
Good luck, I hope to see you out there.
