20th anniversary meet 15th July Birmingham Motorcycle Museum
Re: 20th anniversary meet?
Go by the build date on the frame...... I have never seen a '96 but that doesn't mean they don't exist.......
In the US we didn't get '97s they were all '98s even though I bought mine in 9\97 and as you see has a build date of 4\97.
So who knows what those tricky Honda boys did with the dates.....
and just for fun.....

I think the fact the press release by Honda was done in 12/96 makes it likely the bike didn't hit the roads until 1997.
Sorry people didn't pick up popkat!
I've changed the original post to put in a date, time and place.
If you can attend just comment or pm. At the minute it's a basic meet but I will make enquiries to see if we can have some kind of feature with a magazine.

Also
I think there is potential with this. If anyone objects to this event being shares outside the forum please say.

That date works for me
And I think it is a good idea to circulate to as wide a group as possible.
Only 20 miles from the venue, so Anybody who is coming a long way for the event is welcome to stop over at mine if it helps break up the journey

I created an event on Facebook. I don't see it as reliable as this forum but should certainly get a few.
I'll add to the initial post as we go

Thanks for that Roger and for giving it thought. I think we can all agree presence is a bonus.

Brilliant Shaun.
This is going well so far (in my opinion). Let's hope it doesn't fall flat!
