Re: a bit of spondoness.
looking good fabio...
you need some ti headers to go with all that loveliness tho mate, contact jonesy, he might be able to help, although your wife will probably kill you...
sadly i have no pictures of the spondon swingarm i used to own. i do remember the welds being a thing of beauty tho, a lot chunkier and heavier than standard as well.
keep the photo's coming mate..

how did the wheels get on, have you checked them over yet mate?
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Re: a bit of spondoness.
yeah checked the wheels in an xray and they are spot on. clear few through them and no damage. i was a bit worried as they had been painted but alls good. also the front disc bolts? really strange one why the heads all broke of cause they came out by hand, almost as if the bolt heads had been glued on. i xrayed the rest of them and they were all cracked round the head..poss sh1t cheap bolts, cant say iv ever seen bolts all do that before, but the threads in the wheel are like new so happy daysagentpineapple wrote:had to be that way for racing.......fabiostar wrote:The welds actually polish up lol.. great work whoever the welder was. ay ti pipes are a bit down the road yet.well yet lol

you have found a great piece of kit there mate.
Re: a bit of spondoness.
bit more work in the cave today. new waterpump seals put in. engine closed up and seems to be running fine.
And the postman arrived with some new clipons
and a nice new talon rear sprocket.
also finished the pipes off. short scorpian cans back off to go back onto the yellow girl(whos tank iv borrowed atm) but keeping the high rise links on the newbie.
there about 3" longer than the other ones but im good with that.
