A couple of Firetorm owners living in Japan (Tochigi & Chiba) have popped up over the years. And some folk have had the problem of derestricting the Japanese market speed limiters.RedStormJ wrote:If anyone lives in hokuriku let me know. Thanls for the welcome. Ill post a few pics. Maybe im lucky
Bike came with goodies. I went 180 km/h plus the other day in a super short span. I do not know what the limiter is unless its at 120 mph. no roads here to do over 120MPH. Ill see what I can dig up though. MY shop guy dont speak a lick of English but grunts engine noises and hand motions usually do it. Heck I buy parts from him that way!
Re: Hello from jp.
Bestest colour! Looks pretty standard for a bike well over a decade old, still with the standard screen and pipes it must have been squirrelled undisturbed away for some years. Did it come with the rear seat cowl? And see if can find any Moriwaki exotic goodies for your stormbeastie ...
Limiter is in the back of the clocks IIRC - just needs some wires rejigging,

Your roads move. Now I know the Japanese are advanced but wow, travelator roads. Does this mean you just sit on the bike and wait. No parking problems there either. Do you ever use those computerised underground storage car parks which file the vehicle away along conveyor belts and lifts. Well futuristic. We need them in London.no roads here to do over 120MPH
