Anyone local to west mids/Warwickshire....There is a set of traffic lights on the main road passing thro Coleshill (near to Bikers world), does any one know if the cameras at these lights actually work?
Came blatting down the hill, approach lights.. lights change..try to stop, no chance, safer to roll on throttle, go thro on red. Bugger.

Around where I work (manchester) there are loads of those cameras, and in 8 years I've never seen a single one go off - seen plenty of people run em on red too.
I tend to think they're there just as a deterrent and have no cameras in em. Far less people run red lights than speed down a main road, so the cameras go in the locations where they'll make the most money *cough* sorry I meant to say where they will have the biggest impact on road safety.
