Utter madness !!!!

Post by yellafella »

I am travelling to London tomorrow to one of our cranes that has a small problem.
It will take me 4 hours to get there by train and tube and a short walk, then a half hour or so for a site induction, then approximately 30 seconds to flick a switch off and on again !
The same journey in reverse coming home !
How mad is that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????

Could be worse, I get to wipe shitty bottoms all bloody day, best bit is when someone arrests, then I get to jump on chests, stick huge tubes down throats.
You guys don't realise how lucky you are
it may be clever, but its not big.

Mad isn't it. Am going all the way to Basra just to sit in a camp and get mortars thrown at me all day. I could get that anywhere!

How about a sub contractor deal?
I can ride to any part of London for you flick the switch a few times and ride home in less time than your train journey will take one way.
You have a duvet day, and pay me your sub contractor a sensible fee.

Now theres a sensible plan ! :D
The thing is that we do have a sub contractor in the area who actually put the control system together !
Unfortunately he wont do it as we havent paid him lately !!!!
Could talk a competent person through the procedure and have it sorted easy ! ( actually a 10 year old could do it ! )
So i am about to pack my PPE, my picnic hamper and a couple of 6" shifters ( just in case ! ) and get an earlyish night before my adventure to the Big Smoggy !!!
Catch ya later !

Mind you if Paul spent less time on his a$$ parked under cars he might stand a slightly higher chance in passing one of us on the road
