If it were me (and I could afford it), then I'd go for it without any hesitation - knowing it can be re-sold after a month of playing on it for almost double what it cost to buy.

Replacing the cans would only cost about £200, and that's gonna be covered well with the profit in selling.

You could spend another 500 quid getting this bike nice and not lose a penny!

So for a practical financial perspective, it's an excellent buy, with a lot more money in the end to go towards something else. I'm just sick I can't go for it.

Whoever buys this, and for whatever motive, they surely can't go wrong.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I can't understand why the original SP1 at £2,750 is still for sale. How come no-one's snapped it up? Is there something up with it that I can't see?

As for the SP2 with HRC kit (and the reserve not met yet!??) - Even if I won the lottery and had 2 million to spend, I wouldn't entertain it. Spending over 20 or 30 grand on something you can't use is daft. Even if I bought me own race track and used it, I think the first corner would see it spit me into a hedge, followed quickly by a polished pine box. 8O
