Can anyone help me trace this person..?

Post by gl_s_r »

I am trying to trace this bike or this person, I am trying by best here but I am sure his name is Andy White and the bike he is on was raced at the BEMSEE 4hr endurance race series back around the turn of the 2000's.

I cannot fully confirm all this but I am pretty sure the information is pretty much correct.

If anyone can help with any background information as to the bike or the rider that would be great help.. if anyone can help me contact the fella that would be even better..

I see Revolution sticker there, maybe Roger D could know? Interesting is that this bike has stock swing arm, along with at least stage 2 engine (ram air).

Thanks for the fast reply Stephen, I have sent a mail to see if it is him.

Yes, you are right, it is a stage 2 as far as I am aware.

I either built or supplied parts for about three other guys who also raced in the same series as this bike. I cannot for the life of me remember who they all were!!

I raced a Firestorm with Bemsee in 2000, I don't remember Bemsee doing an Endurance series back then, KRC used to do one but I didn't know of anyone doing it.. There was one other storm with Bemsee in 2000 that was silver and also went to IOM, it had 2 fuel tanks welded together one on top of the other to get round the island, sounds odd but looked really good, He got a puncture on the first lap from memory, it was making 120hp at the wheel no Moriwaki kits on it, I think it had head work, kent cams and a lot of set up. Didn't beat me though :biggrin
I remember Dave Heal raced one but that may have been 98 or 99 and it was in BSB as a privateer iirc.

Sorry Mark non of that helps with who the rider in the picture is.

You may be right -KRC sounds familiar. I think this bike raced in KRC
I modified a number of fuel tanks (six I think) by slicing the tank laterally and inserting either a 20mm band piece for 21 litres or 30mm for 24 litres. They were nickname "wedding cake" tanks!
I know everything about David Heals bikes as I was involved with him and Stan Stevens for a period.
