Newbie from NewZea

Post by legendlives »

Hi from an expat brit, now residing in Auckland NZ.
After selling my bikes (Fireblade, Ducati S4 and Triumph 955 Daytona) before moving out here I decide that it's about time I had another two wheeled toy, and after seeing a few possibilities I settled on a VTR.
It's a 1999, and without doubt the best condition second-hand bike I've ever seen, there is not a split or scrape anywhere on the bike.
The plan is to make it absolutely perfect, so the whole exhaust system is going to get polished and the wheels will probably be going gold.
As I work for the NZ HEL agent it will also be getting gold brake and clutch lines.
I've only had it a week or so, and already it has a front mudguard extender and a pair of shorty levers.

It also had a hideous rear rack when I bought it which has been removed.
