Brass monkey ride out
Any one freezing there nuts off tomorrow on the Brass monkey ride out. Will be at markeaton Mc donalds 1130 ISH. Full thermals BIG socks be there or be a big girls blouse . Will be accompanied by zipper lad

i only found out this year though due to my mate being called
brassmonkey, what a brass monkey is (he is a plumber which has bu**er all to do with it)

Sure,
A brass Monkey is what used to hold the cannon balls all nice and neat onboard the old gallions. When the weather got really cold the metal in it would change shape and the cannon balls would drop through t and onto the deck.
Hence the saying "It's cold enough to freeze the balls of a Brass Monkey"
Pete takes off his cardigan, tosses aside his pipe and slips away.
