resetting timing after cct failure help

Post by Roly »

Front cct went recently and I've just been looking at the timing marks etc and reading some of the guides, but Im a bit old so would appreciate enlightenment

Rear head timing spot on, whats the procedure from here timing the front? Its defo skipped on the front so marks will be inaccurate so im going to need to retime it.

Could someone point me to an idiots guide please? :D

It could be the drugs 8O

Great, so rear head timing done, so, rotate 450 degrees anti clockwise, then front marks should be facing away from each other? Cam lobes? With timing marks lined with head flat? I honest got brain fog............ Im not usually so slow!

FYI if timing from the front to the rear it's only 270°
