No Idea

Post by robby_firestorm »

Guys help me.

My firestorm indicators are staying on not flashing just on even with the key out of the ignition. The only way to stop is take off the battery.

I took the relay off and disconnected the lhs switch but still they are stuck on.

What can it be?

My first thought is the switch mechanism inside the left hand controls. Dare I say it  give it a quick squirt of lube and see if this frees it up.

If I disconnect the LHS Switch Gear wouldn't it turn the lights off? They seem to be getting power from somewhere else?

Roll your sleeves up and check wiring to see if PO did some weird an wacky mods that have gone wonky or as suggested there's a broken tripped wire somewhere - Colour wiring diagram is in the back of the Haynes manual or search the forum for a scan.

It gets it's power from the fusebox via the indicator relay. Have you removed the fuse to see if they stay on.

The following may be of some help.
