pinlock insert
Pinlock visor insert.
Anyone using one? How do you rate it?
Looks like they are available in reactolight as well as various tints.
Any feedback appreciated

Re: pinlock insert
Brilliant things, been using them for years now...bit pricey but worth it IMO.
Haven't tried the reactivate one yet they are expensive !
I have a tinted one inside a light tint visor just right for me.
Clear one in a clear visor for the night time.

Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...
Re: pinlock insert
I have a lot of trouble with the inside of the visor steaming up. So new helmet or pinlock.
I would be annoyed if i brought a pinlock & it didn't improve things.

Re: pinlock insert
Cheaper for me than a new helmet. Thanks boys
Re: pinlock insert
I definitely rate the pinlock visor insert too. As Mac, I've been using one for years. The only downside I find is if your out with a tinted one and it gets dark before you leave to come home, as they're not the easiest of things to remove (or I don't find them so, perhaps it's just me ), plus you then have to carry it somewhere. Apart from that I wouldn't be without mine,
Chris.

Re: pinlock insert
I have a dual visor system. So pinlock will be clear on main visor with dark second visor inside

Ah well, you should have no problem with a clear pinlock insert I would have thought, bsabloke wrote:I have a dual visor system. So pinlock will be clear on main visor with dark second visor inside

Absolutely brill BSA Bloke
The only downside is the way they make lights star in the dark but they keep the screen so much clearer the good far out weighs the bad
Go clear and buy a pair of Reactolight sunglasses

Re: pinlock insert
Already have reactolight prescription glasses with anti glare coating.
It is mainly to help stop inside visor misting up.
Glasses, dark inner, pinlock, outer visor.
Hope i will be able to see out

Re: pinlock insert
Also have a pinlock visor fitted for 4 years now, works perfect! Never any problems, also never any misting. I went for the clear ones as I have a build in sunvisor. Won't ever go without them!
It's sad that, in our blindness we gather thorns for flowers

Snap!!!!Already have reactolight prescription glasses with anti glare coating.
That will be why you have misting up issues. How many times have you ridden in the rain, mist up and then have to flip the visor up to see, then the rain gets on your glasses lens, close visor because rain is heavy, get more rain on the outside of the visor. So now we have rain on our glasses lens, and rain on the outside of the visor and we steaming up again. Oh and its night time and we keep getting the glare on oncoming traffic. Can you see wombles all. I can't can't
( in the voice of Mr Frosties)Pinlock are great... It wont take away all the misting up but they are as good as you will get.
