Sorry oil again but different lol

Post by bazzashadow »

My son has a CBR 125 14 plate
And it says in the manual 10/30 oil
Could he use my power1 10/40 to save having to buy different oils in the shed
Is there much difference between the two grades
Thanks

CBC? I would use power1 in a CBR125 without any problem, could be overkill, a normal HiLevel or cheaper oil would be just as good

Entirely agree, anything cheap with regular changes is better than posh stuff that you can't afford to throw away every few thousand.
Most small bike engines form Japanese mnfrs are made for a lot of different markets where the expectation is of low quality fuel and oil, they are mostly still indestructible.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
