Mallory park track day 08/11/14
What a cracking day that was .
That must be the most fun I've ever had in the wet ,sure not as fast as the dry but so much more challenging ,
A real rewarding day as I learnt so much about the bike /tyres/myself and just what you can get away with ,
Sure there was many moments where I Aqua planed and many lock ups and even more power slides .
At no point in the day did I think it was a bad choice taking pigmit or myself round that track in those conditions .
Lap times were way down in the 1:20s but without full wets I couldn't push it any harder tho I wanted to and had to keep telling myself "it's wet slow the feck down "
As sometimes I was entering Gerard's at over a ton and the rear sliding out .
The buzz I have now is on par with the last one and I learnt heck of a lot more

Lapping me, Pist, did you bo****ks! Passed me yes, lapped no
It was certainly an interesting day. As Lloyd said, a lot was learnt today and now I have a head ache I also learnt that PR3's are naff in the wet! I never had any grip, always sliding around which in the end I got used to, to an extent. Had a couple of moments where I nearly lost it. The only one you will see in video footage will be around 3laps from the end of the first load of vids I will upload
Deffiently a lot learnt. I think my bike would have been better if the suspension was right for me. The back is a little to hard but I can not do anything with it till I get a new spring fitted and I havnt a clue what is in the forks So a wet day next year will tell when all suspension is serviced and set up correctly I didn't mind it to much today, least I was warm and dry Would be up for it again but only when the suspension is right, for the wet.
Videos will follow. Best lap time was 1.22 which considering the conditions is ok I spose. It's 2seconds quicker than my fastest lap at the 1st Mallory track day a few weeks a go and that was dry compared to today But congrats to Lloyd, he has come a long way in the wet and now quicker than me again I'll get him one day, havnt a clue when but one day

Here is the first video. Taken ages to upload to youtube. You will want to skip in 3mins to get pasted all the waiting. I couldn't be arsed to edit it
Re: Mallory park track day 08/11/14
Here is the 2nd video
You WILL want to skip to 6:35 to miss the boring waiting around unless you want to watch the women dancing around while she was miming to the paramedic
If you want to see my biggest moment of the day (watching the footage it seems small but it certainly felt big, honest officer ) then skip to 22:10 but the fight does begin a few laps before
The lens fogged up waiting to be let out so it isn't the best footage.
Mallory Park 08/11/14 2nd to last session:
