Having to sell my firestorm

Post by rkbn »

Hi guys.

I am unfortunately having to sell my storm due to being made redundant in jan and now being made homeless by my landlord so having sold everything else i have the only thing left to go is the bike,

It is a 1997 vtr, full fairing kit yellow with polished frame with about 30000 on the clock, with a set of stubby fuel exhausts (awesome sound) No MOT and SORN

Now it is going to need a bit of work, chain/sprockets, Tires front and rear (rear has puncture), Ignition barrel (it has a switch to turn on at the moment, i got p155ed off after the third time they tried to steal the bike even though it is locked) and R/H mirror and slight tear in seat cover

Engine is still running fantastic never had any issues with that.

Oils and filter were changed just before christmas last year.

The reason why the bike is in disrepair is due to redundancy and really struggling to find a job that is mechanically biased and having to live off of jobseekers and not being able to do the work needed to fix the bike.

It is an understatment to say i am absolutley gutted as i love this bike but i cannot afford to do anything to get it back on the road.

i would like £600 but i am open to offers as i just need the money to help out at the moment

If you would like any more info please PM me and sorry no pictures having to use internet in the library

Thanks everyone

Nat

Unless anything has changed i'm gonna guess Coventry is where the bike is. Deffo get some pics up.. if you really stuck with internet.. can you send any pics via sms or whatsapp? I and i'm sure others could help you out there to get some photos up.

rkbn, you have a PM.

If you can't reply to me via PM, do you want me to pass on your email address to Roly :?:
