heading for Dorset
heading for Dorset
Hi fellow riders of the storm Brownie here (the one with the storm and trailer). We (that is the storm/trailer and the Mrs) are heading up to Dorset for a few days next week (weather permitting) and wondered if any of you know of a good camp site along the coast and a few good pubs for a meal or two. Iv travelled along the A 35 both ways several times recently and fancied getting closer to the coast for a look around so if anyone knows the area it would be helpful (don`t want to spend all day looking for a good site) thanks. PS sorry I might have posted this twice

Re: heading for Dorset
if you go into weymouth on the seafront, look just down the road into the town centre and youll see the black dog, not a bad pub and weymouths oldest, otherwise go just round the corner from the train station and youve got the dolphin, again ,not too bad when i went in there last..
Re: heading for Dorset
thanks lads we`ll head that way . after the black dog and a try of the dolphin hope the tents not too far away

The heading you need is down, and once you're going down, turn right.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

That whole coast is amazing, Tony is right (always is!) Durdle Door and Lulworth are great. The chickerall to West bay is great too, if you go a bit further there is Lyme Regis and that too is lovely. Its a great coastline. Sidmouth is great too and great roads for a bike.

Thanks hope we have enough time to see it all. Sounds like there could be another trip required in the near future
