Was going to check cam chains as bike making whirring nose. Got front velocity stack off fine but some muppet has chewed one of the screw head on the rear one, didn't want to do my normal just go and tw@ it with hammer and stuff the job totally. Any ideas how to get round this be great...... Or can just leave it till 26th for the workshop day......
Nice one, jobs a good'un why do some people have to over tighten things so much, i'll never know........ best get on with the job now...... may need help with engine rebuild lkater, if all goes pear shaped.....
Well after what probbaly was to much tea drinking and fag breaks, the old girl is up and running again. about 6mm of play in cam chain now, instead of the 4mm that was sounds better and starts better. So good job alround i recon.....
Pretty much all good now, can't be much else to do..... got the suspension sorted last year, done the rear linkage with grease niples, swinging arm bearings pistons and seals in front and rear brakes, also serviced the master cylinder........ so bike is now covered in white dots of tipex on most of the bolts
