If you get a replay we can wire it up to your side light and use that as the switch rather than having an independent switch in series, then it will switch off with the ignition or switched off whilst riding.

cheers lads
I like the sidelight approach, so what would I need, a relay, some wiring and a 12v marine grade charger, anyone got some links for these items, also how/where do I attach it to the front/dash area of the bike?

Hiya, I'm new here and in fact this is only my second post, so I'm being a bit cheeky really, but I'd like to come along to meet some forum members and also, of facilities and tools permit, strip and grease the rear suspension linkage on my newly acquired storm. I can bring a 240v rattle gun and some impact sockets if it will be of any use, together with a leak down tester if you have a compressor?

Regards

Neil

Hi Neil. You shouldn't need to bother with the rattle gun as I am bringing mine  I can't see it being a problem with you turning up :)

Hiya Neil, you are most welcome to the workshop day, are you any good at flipping burgers?

Good to see you are planning to take a look at the swingarm linkages, I have a compressor if you need to use it

Cool!!! how do I find out where it is though?

I mentioned the compressor in case any one was interested in running a leakdown on their motor. I'll bring the tester anyway.

Cheers people
