another newbie!

Post by jmyg79 »

Hey guys just wanted to say hi and ask for some opinions. Ive had my superhawk (aka) firestorm for 3 weeks now. And loved every mile I have put on it so far. I just want a different sound, but being I cashed in all my pennies to buy it, new cans are out of the picture. What do you think of the procedure now most commonly know as the "baffelectomy"? Is it worth doing? Or should I just hold off until some new cans are possible?
Thanks, Jeremy

hi dude, i dont think it is worth the hassle to cut out the baffles,
better to wait & buy a set of new cans when you are able to.

Hi fella, welcome to vtr land.

I do remeber seeing somewhere on this site a description of how to modify the origional silencers, but I buggered if I can now find it. If you click on the UK firestorm baner at the top of this page and have a look around there.

hope this is of help
