No not into that :-( I had a tank once that had sealing stuff put in to it ,I think it was epoxy or something and it was always clogging up the filter .

I'm stripping the tank back to metal anyway (cheaper to get it painted that way ) so I will give the thinners a go first .

Just wipe a bit of brake fluid over it and leave it over night, it'll wipe clean off in the morning.

Sorry thought you'd had it painted and overspray had got inside the tank.

I suppose if your stripping it it wouldn't really matter what you use to clean it out as long as it's nutralized before painting.

It's got a very good paint job but it's er er er blue ! And as I want it on the green bike it needs painting tho won't be till later in the year but I want it fitted and cleaned out before that so I can set the float hight and check the range as it will save me fecking about once it painted !

I know I wouldn't mind if it was teal or yellow ! But blue I'd be chased down the road by leather chap wearing anus invaders !
