Merry Christmas to our Armed Forces

Post by VTRDark »

Just been watching Gary Barlow over in Camp Bastion Afghanistan. Thought it would be nice to give a thought to those fighting out there and other parts of the world away from home this Christmas. I have a friend in the RAMC somewhere over there and it brought a tear to my eye watching this. My thoughts and best wishes go out to them all and their friends and families right now.

Stick a little tipple in you cup next time you brew up.

Have a safe Christmas.

My thoughts go out to the family of the Royal Engineer who sadly paid the ultimate price last Monday and the 446 brave British soldiers who sadly didn't return from Afgan. RIP

Come home safe, boys and girls.

My thoughts are with all of them all year round, not just at Christmas.
But will be wishing them all well and hoping they all stay safe especially after hearing another one died today.
The day they all get out of that place cannot come soon enough in my opinion.

+1 on that.

I hate to think how bereaved families will feel when the locals kick off again when our troops come home.
