2000 VTR1000F Firestorm. X reg £1,000 ono **sold**
For sale is my 2000 VTR1000F Firestorm. X reg. Bike is located in Godstone, M25 Junction 6.
£1,000 ono
Recent work carried out:
New battery.
New fork stanchions.
Repainted fork lowers.
New upper and lower fork bushes
New fork seals
New fork dust seals
New chain and sprockets. DID Gold X Ring
New taper roller head bearings.
New front brake disks.
New rear brake disk.
New right and left fairing panels.
Repainted tail unit.
Wiring loom replaced as original was rotten.
New fasteners fitted to anything removed & refitted
Repainted wheels (acrylic polyurethane 2 pack)
Extras/Features
Polished swing arm.
Polished pillion peg hangers.
R&G crash protection bungs
"Carbon" frame protectors
Braided hoses
Seat Cowl
Box of misc spares such as carb jets etc
Just serviced (by me)
31,580 miles
Brake and clutch fluid change.
Cooling system flushed and coolant changed.
Oil & filter change.
Carbs will need balancing but some butt has borrowed and not returned my vacuum gauges
Valve clearances were checked at 24,000 miles
One years MoT.
31,350 miles.
160 ish mph for peanuts..
Tank could do with a repaint.
Tyres are legal, but fairly old, I have not changed them since everyone has a tyre preference, these are Metzeller Z6, which are a favourite of mine.

Carbon frame protectors included. The only thing not included in the pics is the tom tom charger lead as I took that off as one of my others broke.

Hello matey... been a while... Street Triple is going, as is the VTR... Keeping the Pan and the CB1300 for now. Really stings getting rid of the Street Triple because it's such a fantastic bike, but i am trying to get rid of any form of loans/credit etc, even though the street is on 0% it's not something i need to weigh out right now - need to sort my house as work may force me selling up next year... not what I want to do but rather be prepared now than panicing in the spring...
