Cheers Girlie_Biker I had the same problem as Kaz :!:

I wouldn't want to be in that situation, but good photography though :!:

Erm, folks........... That's Johnny Wishbone in Mondello Park near Dublin about four weeks ago!!

Q Johnny.........................

The full sequence of photos show the whole picture, he reckons he got on the power a bit early while cranked way over and the back just slid out. The Mudguard that Chris refers to being a bit out of line is the forks bending with the force of the tyre gripping while going sideways!
JW is fine, bike needs a bit of work though........

Hiddie hi campers!

Sorry for the radion silence folks, have been on site down in the sticks for the past few weeks. As for being ashamed, you're damn right I was - stupid mistake, first lap of that particular session, cold tyres, got on the power and wham! butt! There's a PPT file on http://www.biker.ie in the gallery section that has all 12 shots.

Bike was pretty dinged up on the left side, forks fooked, massive dent in tank, subframe twisted and skewed plus plenty of broken bits, clipon, peg etc.

Have been putting in the hours though over the past few weeks and she's nearly ready again. As for me, I injured my wrist and hand and it's only just begining to feel like it's on the mend, but other than that I got away lucky - didn't bash my lid or nutin'!
Out of my way or I'll eat the lot of ye!!
