Yes we do go that way a lot. Mostly we'll go north one week, then south the next (From Nr the Trafford Ctr). Although we are going North to the Lakes less often during the summer now as it's so busy and full of plod. We have more fun around the welsh border and dont get any hassle at all.
You're not far from us anyway, just give us a shout if you want to tag along for a ride. We try and get out every weekend if at all possible and sometimes after work in the summer too.
