Just do a comparison site check.

Make sure you try 2 or 3 comparison sites though, because I found when I did mine last year I got about £600 fully comp from go compare, about £500 fully comp from Tesco compare and about £300 fully comp with compare the market.

They are all bastid rip off merchants !

Make sure you actually read the small print...!

e.g. Free helmet & kit cover...in reality only up to £350 & then £100 excess & then they give it ''ware & tear'' - another £100 !

Bike in a locked garage, yeah we'll give you a bit off for that...Small print says...if your bike is stolen or damaged within 500mts of your garage...tough shite we're not paying as it should have been locked up like you told us it would be...

For what it's worth...MCE £90...but your not actually insured with MCE they are just the brokers...Markerstudy are the insures & they have taken 4 months & counting to sort my claim...Their exscuse, ''a high level of claims''...Not my problem mate, get my claim sorted...avoid !

Rant over...

Insurance is whatever the cheapest you can find is. Mines £220 third party only with a massive excess. :(

Rather than start another topic, thought I'd slot this little question in here...

How many of you, inform your insurance companies of mods you've done I.e cans, screens, wheels, etc. ?

It often pops into my mind, then before I've taken it any further it's long forgotten!
