rear shock

hi all want to replace the rear shock on bike was wondering what shocks I can use and if any other bike shocks will work on it. thanks :thumbup:
ride it till the tires fall off then keep going !!!!!!!

No, there are no shocks from other bikes that are a direct bolt on... They all have either the wrong fasterners, the wrong length/stroke or entirely wrong spring/valving...

You can get an f4i or 900RR shock and modify it heavily with billet parts, making it longer, and change the valving... Or have it done for you... http://www.daughertymotorsports.com/vtr ... 1000f.html or, you can go for whatever aftermarket option you like, Hagon, Ohlins you name it...

Only heard of heavily modified CBR F4i rear shock done in the States as a replacement to the OEM shock.

Try a search for rear shock on this forum and see what aftermarket shocks are recommended

Just as a side note... I went this route... as good used aftermarket options at the time were harder to find than hens teeth.

The Reworked F4i shock is a dream to ride... the work and set up so good,,, I just had Mr daugherty set up a set of forks as well.

I tried WP base Emulsion type shock and then a Nitron Street shock.............The Nitron is impressive

Just got my Hagon shock back
Will be fitting it later and will let ya know
