Mac probably has it. Every thread he seems to start ends up with him grabbing one, or something similar, on the way out

It's nice how even on the serious apology the joke is still being continued. Only on this forum, eh? mad, the lot of you :D

what did i miss lol :D
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Would it not be possible to set the swear filter up so it, rather than looking for set words of a set length, looked in between spaces for any matching references to the string? i.e. It would take the word carl so eloquently displayed, recognise the first four letters as part of the blocked list and then display a suitable output? Would surely be simple enough to do by searching a post for a predefined set of letters, or being fancy and using a char array.. even though it'd probably be more memory intensive. Who ever takes the easy route anyway?

You are a clever young lad Virt   And you are indeed quite right with what you say. I usually spell it fooked but I CBA. It's about time it was added to list, it's only fair, the other words got in there.

cybercarl wrote:I'm sorry you felt you had to apologise but it is very honourable of you and also nice to get a bit of background knowledge Sarge  Your a welcome member here and in the time you have been here you have already contributed a fair amount of good info on riding and the VTR, it's much appreciated. I like the fact that there are cultural differences between us as it means we can learn something from each other, even if it just how to spell colour. At the end of the day your an alli (not sure how that's spelt) as in allied forces.

Now get down and give me 10

Well First it's Sergeant, The Sarge stuff maybe fine in those other services but in the Corps its Sergeant......... 8)

I do understand the dynamic there a little better now. Here, as we group up like I said, the group is so small compared to may of the other ones that it becomes, "if you're a Celt, you're in."
Sure there are some hard core folks but generally we get along well and tease each other without separating into the 4 groups.

The whole American thing, well my family didn't leave because they wanted to but when the English King issues a order of death for your family for being part of a revolt, it might be a good idea to have hit the road before they get there.... Could be why they were not a fun group to run into a few short years later when they got involved in the revolution here.

That's why we still claim two countries.

So carry on.....
