Its crap when plans falls apart like that........ Sounds like the venue was too big when you can't find each other :(

Got home about four this afternoon, followed Jonesy down the A14 so added a fair bit to the return journey mileage.
What a good weekend!
Well organised, well done.
And thanks for providing a tent- saved a good bit of weight and packing.
Bit nippy at night. though- but that was the only not-brilliant bit of the event.

Well, that and the torrential rain ans hail all the way there.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Well what can I say. A big thank you to flatline, adyf, Miztaziggy and anyone else who planned the route yesterday. It was fantastic. The scenery was great, the roads great (besides the resurfacing) and the weather..... Fantastic. You lot who organised it out did yourselves. Great weekend, thank you!

Thank you Ady for the trip into York this morning, really needed that little ride to get me going for the ride home. I had intended on just thrashing down the motorway to get home (85miles). Headed down the A1 and wanted to get onto the M1 and home. Anyway I am following the A1 and following and following and following and following, then I started to think....I should have been on the M1 by now. Anyway I keep following it and then I see a sign for London and Grantham. That's when I look down at the speedo and notice that I was reaching the 100mile mark rather quick :? I carried on and on and the miles started to rack up, ended up reaching a petrol station just outside Grantham with 120miles on the clock and now fuel light. Only took 14quid to fill up as well. What should have been 85miles turned into a rather nice 160mile ride home  :D Got on some nice roads down this way and really enjoyed myself. Got a good thrashing too. Then when I got back realised how bug splatted the bike was and gave it a good wash

Thank you again to all who have been planning this weekend and also a thank you to everyone who turned up. Lets do it again

I took my camera with me but left it in paniers when I dropped them at the camp site instead of taking it out and putting it in my tank bag :x

what a belter of a weekend
ok I have filled up 8 times to get there and back; emergency welding to get the exhaust back to one piece; wrecked my tyre; realised that my suspension is well past its upgrade; froze my baldrocks of twice; and got burnt by a certain chaps girlfriend.
im going to have to get my neck stretched/twisted back into place! !

was it worth it?
OH HELL Yeah.
Gents that put it all together, I salute you.
all that turned up will agree that it was cracking.

must start looking into a bike trailer as the motorway sucks...
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time

Good to meet everyone over the weekend. Should have done an Op Storm ages ago if that's what I've been missing.

It did get a bit chilly at night but I was fine in my 4 seasons sleeping bag with hood - just my nose sticking out!

A big    to flatline and everyone else who helped organize the weekend. The route was superb and the weather couldn't have been better. The route probably couldn't have been better either although it was hard to concentrate on riding with so much good scenery!

Cheers to Ady for the quick guided tour of York this morning. Happy birthday - you kept that quiet!

The evening entertainment was spot on courtesy of Ady and Tony being - well, Ady and Tony

(A lot less than some but still did 510 miles over the weekend!)

So, that went well :)

Great weather, great roads, what more could you want apart from warm nights!

A big thank you to Miztaziggy for his input on the route and his pictures/vids

Another big thank you to Ady for helping with the early morning ride outs to check the route and helping to put up the tents

And a great big thank you to George, who came all the way up from Portsmouth to join us and volunteered to be the back marker for the second group

You are an absolute star George

But it really is a big thank you to all the people that turned up and made it a great day out........thanks

The post is up for next years ride

Once again, thanks to all of you for making it a great weekend
