The welds i was talking about, they didn't bother me too much until i was at a McDonalds and a guy on a 125 was having a look and went eeeeee those look nasty

Suzuki Welds

Bear in mind these look a lot better on the pictures than they do in real life....

Honda Welds (excuse the muck)

notice the weld is on the inside edge where it is barley seen, not down the middle of the brace arm like the suzuki

There a huge difference between the two. This Suzi welds remind me of rust bubbling under paint. Some of them are not even in a straight line. 8O

Cleaned and degreased the chain then put fresh chain wax on

Also fitted renthal medium compound diamond pattern grips today original grips was very a hard rubber

Stuck a piece of that mesh i had left over down behind the grill to protect the oil cooler and bottom of the Rad, might get more of this so i can make a bespoke one to fit both, going to Oulton park there will be loads of stones thrown up i think and this has basically no fender coverage and just pings everything at the Rads

Oh no, you just couldn't wait. As a lesson to you you you can now find the bits and put them back together yourself   I'm guessing you had a go at removing the slides, Don't loose the couple of little washers on the needles.

Re-fixed the clutch on the hornet after we messed it up completely yesterday.. Though it's not gonna get used until new forks/clip ons/clutch cable/screw washer thing for clutch cable/brake pads arrive in a few weeks. And convinced my Dad it's a good idea to do the CCT's... Only took 2 of my brothers' starting to rattle to convince him :P Now just need to arrange a deal with a member.

Well done.. If you do the stop mod it's not altering any of the original mechanics that Honda have done, but it does prevent any damage if there is a failure.
